Engraving

This construction process is simply an overview of the general steps involved.
Concrete Engraving involves the following:

  •     The concrete is ground and polished up to a certain point, usually 400 resin and then cleaned in preparation for acetone dye.
  •     Cracks, if any, are repaired. (Though sometimes cracks are left in the concrete, which produces and aged brick or stone look)
  •     The concrete is then dyed to one color or multiple colors.
  •     The concrete is then engraved with the desired pattern with a patented engraving tool.
  •     The job is cleaned up, and a penetrating microfilm is applied.

New or old concrete can be engraved.
